Jake Lawrence:

- Specializes in athlete, functional and lifestyle training.
- Experience training athletes (of all ages and abilities) in wrestling, football, basketball, golf, swimming, soccer, running, cycling, volleyball and tennis.
Watching a client progress and begin to achieve their goals is what makes it all worthwhile. Throughout my life I have been coaching, teaching or mentoring people. The spectrum of my clients has been broad; from athletes training intensely for weekly competition to seniors working hard to maximize their health.
My passion for health and fitness began very early on in life. While competing and preparing to compete as an amateur wrestler I learned the benefits of strength and cardiovascular training as well as proper nutrition. The benefits were immediate: faster recovery, less injuries, better sleep and the virtual elimination of illness. The decision after college to keep these things a priority was an easy one. Upon finishing my 16 years as a wrestler I’ve taken up and competed in many lifestyle sports: bodybuilding, climbing, running (trail and road) and road biking. In this state, which is full of sunshine and natural beauty, there really is a lifestyle activity for everyone!
I have a deep passion and belief in health and fitness; connecting the body, mind and spirit. It is so important and worth your time and energy. As a fitness professional I am here to motivate and provide intensity to your workouts and be a driving force in your fitness. If you believe it, we will achieve it!

I am committed to helping people, especially women transform their bodies using the latest in core stabilization & functional training techniques that focus on key muscle groups. We offer a Private Training Studio that is minimalist yet inviting. I love to create training sessions that offer my clients workouts that are challenging, unique & fresh. It’s important to keep it fun and effective. We focus on target areas that all women want to firm and tone without using heavy weights. It’s a dream job really… assisting people to become more balanced, limber, strong and confident.
My interest in fitness and training started in my mid 20s when I began working with personal trainers in Houston, Texas to increase muscle tone and endurance. Later, I balanced a 20-year career in software & pharmaceutical sales while maintaining my roles as a wife and mother. Unfortunately, I allowed my previous dedication to health and fitness to take a back seat to the demands of my professional & personal lives. It has only been within the past few years that I have refocused on fitness and once again hired a personal trainer, a decision that has changed my life. Today, I enjoy working out regularly, training and I have taken up my passion for riding horses once again.
